Everyone
deserves a chance.
We invest a lot of time into making sure our workforce is happy and healthy, through occupational and mental health checks, risk assessments and offering skills sessions for career development.
We believe that everyone deserves a chance.
- Emergency financial aid to construction families in crisis
- Advice on occupational health and mental wellbeing
- Support on legal, tax and debt management matters
The helpline is funded by The Lighthouse Club which has been delivering charitable welfare and support to the construction community since 1956, who in turn are funded by and supported by the businesses and people in our industry and our network of 21 regional volunteer clubs.
Working with young people, ex-offenders and organisations focused on Education, Prevention and Rehabilitation, we aim to not only prevent crime, by raising awareness of the consequences but to also help rebuild lives, in a unique way, which acts as a catalyst for positive change, makes communities safer and creates social value.
Hire a Hero is a charity that supports service leavers through the transition into civilian life. We work in partnership with public, private and third sector organisations to provide a network of support and to signpost service leavers to the most appropriate resources as required.
To support all service leavers and veterans, regular or reserve from all three services, regardless of time served, make the successful transition to meaningful, sustainable civilian employment.
